Chuck Barringer: Driver

“I have been an OPT Driver now for the last four months.  Since becoming a driver for OPT, I have enjoyed the daily routes that have been assigned me.  The local residents who ride are friendly and informative and ready to assist me at any time.  Students from both colleges (Hartwick and SUNY Oneonta) are very respectful, they greet me politely and always thank me when they depart the bus.  I do find that not everyone appreciates OPT and what it represents and means to those who use it.  OPT is Americans hard earned tax dollars at work providing a means of transportation to the public while recouping some of the expense it costs to operate.  I salute OPT and the staff!”
